I have damaged frizzy hair and dont know if getting a straighter would be a good idea, I mean doesn't all that heat mess up your hair more, and possibly cause hair loss.

I mean already i have been losing hair without using a straightener, because of so much damage i even had to put a raw egg on my hair.

So what should I do? I am even going to the doctor to see if I am lacking any vitamins or what I can do to prevent the frizz and hair loss.

So that way i can have those hairstyles I mentioned.Get a hair straightener for these styles or stick to just shampoos and conditioners for anti frizz?
First note that anti-frizz products alone just wont do it, to stop frizz you need to start in the shower

You need to use a natural shampoo that does not dry out your hair. You see shampoos contain SLS which dry up your hair, the result is frizz!

Some conditioners are good and have special silicones and conditioners which tend to tame and put down your hair cuticle-thereby stopping the frizz.

The very best way however is to use powerful hair oil like Mira hair oil

It is a herbal hair oil treatment that conditions you hair and keeps it healthy and nourished

Use it two times a week. Doing this will stop the drying out process that causes hair frizz to begin with

try it for free

What does menthol (dl menthol) do in anti-dandruff shampoos?

Are there any anti dandruff shampoos that dont fade your hair colour?

i sometimes use olive oil instead but its a pain to get it all out any other ideas? Are there any anti dandruff shampoos that dont fade your hair colour?
Try a good quality tea tree shampoo. Are there any anti dandruff shampoos that dont fade your hair colour?
good answer, most ppl here didn't even read the question:S and advised head n shoulders...one of the best ones TO FADE COLOR! Report Abuse

I don't have a lot of dandruff unless I don't wash it for a long long time, then it gets horrible and looks worse. I just give my hair a really good shampoo (using any shampoo) and scalp massage to get it all out, and then it looks fine.
I dont really know.. maybe Head and Shoulders, i think they thay have a variety of different kinds one sensitive scalps.. might be less harsh on your hair.. so the color won't fade. Try Wal-mart, CVS and other drug stores. ;)
Head and Shoulders.
look fot the anit dandruff label on ur fav shampoos or 1's uve never tried

if u do have dandruff use head %26amp; shoulders
i use tresemme or vosene and i have to color my hair frequently

it may be more expensive but it is worth it

you could straighten it to to get frizz down_thats if you have staright hair

:)My hair is always frizzy!!! I have used all of the shampoos that say ';ANTI FRIZZ!'; but they never work. help?
What type of hair do you have?(Straight, Wavy, Curly.)My hair is always frizzy!!! I have used all of the shampoos that say ';ANTI FRIZZ!'; but they never work. help?
Whether I straighten my hair or not, I use this shampoo and conditioner called StraightSexyHair. It relaxes curl and takes away frizz. I also use this anti-frizz serum by John Frieda.
Try using John Frieda FRIZZ-EASE Hair Serum. After Shampoo and Conditioner pump a small dime size amount onto wet or towel dry hair - work through very well. This will get rid of fly-aways, frizz and leave hair shiny as well.
I have the EXACT same problem

what I did was got a hair straightener.

Every night, I will take a shower, and after I brush my wet hair out, I put 3 squirts of hair spray in.

    Then I leave it.

In the morning, I brush my hair out for 5 minutes [[only because I have thick hair]] and then I take the straightener to it. Then I brush it 1 more time and put VERY LITTLE moose in.

Then all the curls, and frizzy is out!

    Hope it helps!! %26lt;3
I use Noodle Head by Beyond Zone you can get it at Sally Beauty supply

Dandruff problem! hav tried dandruff treatment and popular anti dandruff shampoos.not working.Suggestions?

I have fought dandruff and flaking too and it seemed like none of the shampoos worked. I was told that a good condtioning oil would help and found a product called Wildroot Creme oil in the men's hair section at Walgreens. About once a week I wet my hair down, then apply the Wildroot liberally and massage it into my scalp and hair. I comb my hair back and leave it in all day. Then wash it out with normal shampoo. My scalp no longer flakes, and my hair is in great condition.Dandruff problem! hav tried dandruff treatment and popular anti dandruff shampoos.not working.Suggestions?
When you wash your hair, make sure you are rinsing it throughly.

That may be your problem, not dandruff.Dandruff problem! hav tried dandruff treatment and popular anti dandruff shampoos.not working.Suggestions?
try a shampoo with tea tree oil, those dandruff shampoos generally dont work, they just pack down the dandruff and you think its working. they also tend to dry out your hair and create alot of build up.
Try a deep conditioner you may not have dandruff just a dry scalp. Drinking lots of water will help too.
have u tried selsum blue? if so then use it and scrub your head hard with it. then wash and scrub it out really really good. after that (same shower not a seperate one) use a normal shampoo and scrub the same. then use a normal conditioner and scrub the same. make sure to get all of the soap out of your hair. that should help.
An effective dandruff shampoo is nizoral, which has a 1 or 2% solution of an antifungal. Avoid any shampoo with zinc pyrithone or selenium sulfide. They burn your scalp and will make it itch and flake even more.

Also avoid shampoo with eucalyptus or heavy fragrance.

If you have acne, its probably linked to your dandruff problem. If you get treatment such as antibiotics, you will find your dandruff problem gets better along with your skin.

So try nizoral for a week, then use a gentle low or fragrance free shampoo for 2-3 weeks, then repeat.
It could be fungal and you may need a prescription-strength anti-fungal shampoo and/or pill called Diflucan. Your doctor will have to test some of the flakes to see how to treat it! Good luck! :)
Well u can try to use the dandruff shampoo from walmart the Equate brand, that seemed to work for mom. she tried all the expensive brands, and Equate worked
I know this sounds crazy, but it works. Listerene. Apply in a spray bottle or with a cotton ball. Use the original brown. No blue or orange stuff. This is also supposed to keep lice away.
I have dandruff to so my mom uses Motions and Olive oil shampoos and conditioners they really work but also you may have growing dandruff which makes your hair grow (that's what i have). Also all of the dandruff won't leave your hair but a good scratch while washing gets out the dandruff wash your hair a good 2 or 3 times every 3 to 4 weeks.

Are there any all-natural anti-dandruff shampoos?

Because of my incredibly thick hair, my scalp gets no oxygen and subsequently dies and flakes, creating a massive amount of dandruff (at least that is what the beautician said...). I currently use Head and Shoulders, which works just fine for the most part, but I was wondering if anyone knew of an all-natural anti-dandruff shampoo. I know that there are plenty of different lines of all-natural shampoos like Burt's Bees and several others, but I have not yet seen an anti-dandruff product from any of these.

The main problem that I can see clearly is that every anti-dandruff shampoo uses acids and chemicals to get the desired effect... which leads me to believe that by being an anti-dandruff product, these shampoos inherently cannot be natural.

Please let me know if you know of anything!

PS, I have tried all-natural tea tree shampoo that promised great results but it ended up making my dandruff even worse. Are there any all-natural anti-dandruff shampoos?

What is the point of ';anti-frizz'; conditioners and shampoos when the problem is caused by lack of moisture?

whats the difference between moisturizing and ';anti-frizz'; shampoos and conditioners? What is the point of ';anti-frizz'; conditioners and shampoos when the problem is caused by lack of moisture?
Well, they are basically the same. Both target moisture to get rid of frizz. I find that Anti-frizz generally dries out my hair more than moisture shampoo :S Moisture shampoos and conditioner are my favorite. I love love love Herbal Essences Hello Hydration! It has won many beauty awards and makes your hair nice. If you want a more expensive alternative, look for Redeken All Soft. The frizz fighting battle is never over. What is the point of ';anti-frizz'; conditioners and shampoos when the problem is caused by lack of moisture?
Anti-frizz helps to prevent getting those tiny hairs that stick out when you're done styling etc, Moisturizer is for really frizzy hair and helps it to be less frizzy, less curly etc.
