Is there an alternative to anti fungal shampoo?

im quite sure my horse has a fungus. it was just on his head, but now im noticing it on his legs and shoulder. id like to get an anti fungal shampoo, but its not looking like farm %26amp; fleet carries it and that's the only horse store around. id rather not order online cause it will take a while to come and ill have to pay shipping. is there any alternative i could use/make that i wont have to order online? Is there an alternative to anti fungal shampoo?
Vetadine/Betadine wash is good. Also Hexil and a lime/sulfur wash work wonders. But the easiest thing to do would be to go to your local chemist/pharmacist (or vet - but it's more expensive there) and ask for a bottle of Chlorhexadine - we were recommended it by our vet and it is great. It kills 99.9% of bugs and is used as a surgical scrub. If your horse has scabs on this fungal area, pick them off first and then use this wash, making sure you get right into the fleshy areas, preventing it spreading. We usually wash our horses and work it in for about 10-20mins and get great results. Good luck!Is there an alternative to anti fungal shampoo?
Try an iodine bath half cup iodine to 2 gallons of water... hopefully you got a sorrel/ red horse tho cause it will stain for a while. betadine is the same thing but less concentrated.
i agree with just ride it.

But if it comes down to it contact your local vet and ask for other solutions or antidotes.
